About this clinic

Your Nearest Emergency Dentist To Hinckley

Hinckley is a lively market town around 16 miles south-west of Leicester, and our Narborough Road clinic is accessible by a direct train from Hinckley station or by a straightforward drive along the A47. We hold same-day emergency appointments from 7am to 11pm every day of the year, making us one of the most reliably accessible emergency dental practices for Hinckley residents who cannot get an urgent appointment locally at the weekend or in the evening.

There is no registration and no referral required. Hinckley patients are seen on exactly the same basis as everyone else. Whether the issue is severe pain, a fractured tooth, an infection or anything in between, call 07400 400790 and we will arrange your appointment. We also offer general check-ups, cosmetic treatments, hygiene visits and restorative work for Hinckley patients who want quality dental care accessible by public transport or car.

Hinckley has good connections to Leicester. Here are the main options: By train Hinckley has its own railway station on the Birmingham to Leicester line. A direct train to Leicester station takes around 20 to 25 minutes, with services running throughout the day. From Leicester station, the Arriva 50 or 51 bus travels along Narborough Road and stops close to our clinic in around 10 to 15 minutes. Total door-to-door journey is approximately 40 to 50 minutes by train and bus. By bus the Arriva 158 runs from Hinckley to Leicester, passing through Narborough Road on its way into the city. Journey times to Leicester are around 55 to 60 minutes. The Stagecoach service from Hinckley bus station also connects to Leicester city centre. By car head north-east along the A47 towards Leicester city centre, then follow Narborough Road south-west to our clinic at 259a. The drive takes approximately 24 minutes. Free on-site patient parking is available at the practice. By taxi a cab from Hinckley town centre to our clinic takes around 20 to 25 minutes.

For a genuine dental emergency, yes. The alternatives for a Hinckley resident at the weekend or in the evening are typically managing the pain at home until Monday, calling NHS 111 and waiting for a referral to an unknown practice, or attending A and E where dental problems are not a clinical priority and waits are often several hours. A 24-minute drive or 40-minute train-and-bus journey to our clinic means being seen and treated by a qualified dental team the same day, at a confirmed time, at a fixed address. For a toothache that has become unbearable, a knocked-out tooth or a rapidly worsening infection, same-day treatment is significantly better than waiting.

Everything, every day of the week. Toothache that has escalated beyond what painkillers can manage. A tooth that cracks, chips or breaks without warning. A crown, bridge or filling that detaches. Infection causing swelling in the gum, cheek or jaw. A deep and tender abscess. Bleeding from a tooth socket that will not ease. Or a tooth knocked out in an accident or fall. We treat all of these situations and we see patients the same day they call. Ring 07400 400790 and describe what has happened. We will arrange your appointment, diagnose the problem with X-rays and begin treatment in the same visit.

The consultation fee is £40. That charge covers a thorough clinical examination, all digital X-rays needed to understand the problem and a complete explanation of the diagnosis, what caused it and the treatment options with their associated costs. Nothing beyond the consultation is carried out without your knowledge and explicit consent. If you decide not to proceed with treatment on the same day, you leave with a clear diagnosis, a written treatment plan and no obligation to return.

Yes. Our payment plans divide the cost of any treatment into equal monthly instalments at the quoted price with no interest added at any point. There is no credit check, no application form, no deposit and no minimum treatment value. The reception team will present the options clearly at your appointment and the decision is entirely yours.

Call us on 07400 400790 and describe the situation. You do not need to make that judgement alone. Our reception team is experienced in assessing the urgency of dental problems over the phone. If the problem is likely to worsen, is causing you significant distress or discomfort, or carries a risk of spreading infection, we will tell you it is worth coming in. If it sounds manageable and likely to keep until your regular dentist can see you during the week, we will tell you that honestly too. We would rather give you an accurate assessment than have you make a long journey unnecessarily or suffer at home when you should have been seen.
